Stucchi Cecere s.a.s. was born in November 1999. To look for its origins, it is necessary to go back to 1932, when Amedeo Cecere, after a few years of experience in a stucco workshop, decided to set up on his own by opening a shop in via Basento, in Rome.

In 1935, as the space to work in via Basento became insufficient, the workshop was moved to its current location in via Tirso, and during the war, as Amedeo was called to arms, the workshop continued in its activity thanks to the management of his wife Elia.

After the war, Amedeo resumed his business by renting some premises adjacent to the shop which he bought over time, reaching the current size of 600 m2.

The laboratory has always had a family management, at the end of the 60s one of Amedeo’s daughters began to work there and later also her husband.

Subsequently, other children and genders also joined the business. It was then thanks to Aldo, husband of Amedeo’s first daughter, that there was a decisive evolution in the quality of the product.

In 1997 Claudio, Aldo’s son, also began to work on it occasionally, and this is how in 1998 Amedeo sold the business to his grandson Claudio.

In November 1998, Aldo’s daughter Danila also joined the company, thus arriving at the current configuration.
